As such, he is able to summon and control the dead. He is a god of strength who can easily defeat Zeus in a battle. Other gods play or sit around with their pets all day. This led Hades to be more closely associated with work than the other gods. The Olympians were scathing about him for that. However, he had to complete his job regardless. It's the reason the Olympians were not a fan of him. He is also the only god who has an army of dead to his disposal.
